Monroe County Airport (M40) is located northeast of Aberdeen in Monroe County, and is accessible via State Highway 25. The city has a population of over 5,500 residents, is located on the Tombigbee River, and attracts visitors with numerous historic sites and buildings. Aberdeen is located approximately 160 miles northeast of Jackson, Mississippi. Monroe County Airport has one asphalt runway, Runway 18/36, which measures 4,999 feet in length by 75 feet in width. Operations are supported by RNAV GPS approaches at both runway ends. Services at the airport, which are offered by the airport FBO, include 100LL and Jet A aircraft fueling, tie-down parking, hangar leasing, and terminal facilities.
